We hope everyone is enjoying the warm weather, taking time off, and of course practicing those soccer skills over the summer . The Spring 2022 season was a great success, but DYS hasn’t stopped working and we are busy planning for the Fall Season and we need your help… Do you have any positive suggestions, would you like to volunteer to help? DYS Updates:
- Dedham Soccer- Golf Tournament- Aug 22nd- Lets raise some money for the HS Soccer programs We would love to see DYS families attend to Golf or just for food and raffles! See attached
- Dedham Summer Soccer Camp- Aug 8 thru 12 and 15 thru 19- Check out the DYS website and sign up per the instructions ASAP… Did you know that one of the best camps in the area with elite coaching staff is hosted right here in Dedham??? See attached

Registration for FALL 2022 Season
- TOWN PROGRAM: Incoming Fall Grades Pre-K thru 3rd Grade
- Registration is open and the Deadline is August 1st so sign up today!!! You will NOT be guaranteed a slot after that date (only at DYS discretion based on player count)
- Players may be moved between seasons as we need to make sure that there are balanced skill levels for each team. We want to make sure that all players are learning soccer AND having FUN. Unbalanced scores every week do not help anyone.
- The number of teams and the size of teams are based on number of registered players and league rules
- First Games 9/10; Last Games 11/12
- Practices to start approx.. 9/6 for grades K thru 3rd. No practices for Pre-K, just games on Saturdays at your time slot
- Uniform Jerseys provided by DYS and will be handed out to coaches at the first game. Please make sure to have Shin guards, cleats for each practice/game
- TRAVEL PROGRAM: Incoming Fall Grades 3 thru 8th Grade
- DYS has met with the coaches to review/verify placements at each age group and are finalizing the rosters/coaches for each team.
- Teams could start hearing from their coaches starting this weekend and most teams should hear by July 25th. There are a few teams/grades that we are still working on confirming coaches. Everyone that registered on time, regardless of attending the tryouts will be placed on a team. If you have not heard by July 25th, please reach out to [email protected] and [email protected]

- UNIFORMS are Parents responsibility to order/pay for: UNIFORMS NEED TO BE ORDERED BY JULY 31st to hopefully have by the first game. Returning players, please order the same # you had in the spring if a new uniform is needed. For incoming 3rd graders and new players, please connect with your coach on which # to use at ordering.
Travel Referees: Do you have a child interested in becoming a referee for Travel Games (only for Home Games in Dedham). Referee MUST be 14 years old to take the licensing course. Check out www.massref.net Please contact me with any questions.
