TRAVEL TRYOUT SCHEDULE AND TRAVEL REGISTRATION OPENS, MAY 12TH!!
The Dedham Youth Soccer Travel Program offers players in grades 3 through 8 the opportunity to compete against teams from other towns in the area. This program focuses on advancing players’ skills, teamwork, and understanding of the game through a higher level of competition. Teams are formed based on evaluations to ensure appropriate placement, and games are played within the BAYS (Boston Area Youth Soccer) league. It’s a great way for players to challenge themselves, grow their love for soccer, and represent Dedham with pride!
Registration opens Monday, May 12th and players must be registered for Fall Soccer participate in Fall Travel Team Tryouts
- Players are evaluated by independent, professional coaches, affiliated with Challenger Sports
- Due to increasing costs all around, rates have been raised to $160
- Please note times and field locations (attached) based on the grade players will be entering in September 2025 (example: a boy in 4th grade now, will be registering for 5th grade Fall soccer, and they will have tryouts on Monday, June 2nd at Northeastern Field from 7:15-8:30p)
- Tryouts are not mandatory but strongly encouraged
- Tryout scores are used to help with team placements for Fall, they are not the only datapoint used
- Tryouts are closed to parents and coaches (drop off/pick up only)
- If someone cannot attend tryouts or will be late, connect with your player's coach
- Players should show up prepared and ready to play (cleats, shinguards, soccer ball, water)
