General Policy
100% refund may be available if withdrawal request is received before
the closure of the specific program’s respective registration date.
50% refund may be available for TRAVEL PROGRAMS if withdrawal request is received
by an appropriate date set in advance by the DYS Board, Registrars, and/or the Travel
Directors. The deadline may be different for specific TRAVEL programs, such as HS
programs in the spring.
50% refund for TOWN PROGRAMS (Pre-K, 1 st , 2 nd , and 3 rd graders doing town) if
withdrawal request to withdraw is received at least one month before the first weekend
of season.
No refund may be given if a request is received after an appropriately set deadline.
Certain incurred fees (such as processing fees, insurance, or administrative costs) may
be non-refundable.
Exceptional circumstances (e.g. moving away from town, a significant injury or health
issue, etc.) may be considered by any Registrars and Board Directors for an appropriate
credit or remedy. Medical documentation may be requested. Please note that
dissatisfaction with a team assignment is NOT an exceptional circumstance.
SPECIFIC DATES FOR SPRING 2026:
TRAVEL PROGRAM (Grades 3 through 8):
January 16, 2026 is the deadline for 100% refund (last date before late fees assessed).
February 24, 2026 is the deadline for a 50% refund (set by Registrar and Travel).

TOWN PROGRAM (Preschoolers through Grade 3):
February 16, 2026 is the deadline for a 100% refund (last date before late fees assessed).
March 11, 2026 is the last date for a 50% refund (season scheduled to start April 11th)
