Practice Schedules are rolling out and should start the week of 9/01 but can start as early as next week- families check email/Team management App for your coach’s communications
Pre-Season Checklist
⚽Field Clean Up on Sunday, August 24th come out on your own or see if your team is doing it together-see the attached flyer for more details
⚽Set aside outgrown, gently worn gear to drop off at CleatSwap at Rustcraft Opening Weekend 9/6
👟 Gear & Uniforms
- [ ] Comfortable clothes to move in (shorts, tees, soccer socks)
- [ ] Outdoor Soccer Cleats (sneakers are fine for PK Kickers!!)
- [ ] Pack shin guards and a labeled water bottle
- [ ] Pump up soccer balls and check size (size 3 for K–2/3 Town, size 4 for 3–6 grade, size 5 for grade 7+); please bring your ball to practices and games!
📅 Schedule & Communication
- [ ] Review coach emails/newsletters for team expectations, schedules and updates
- [ ] Set up carpools or snack rotations with other families if needed
🧃 Health & Safety
- [ ] Update allergy info and emergency contacts with the coach or league
- [ ] Pack allergy-friendly snacks for games (especially if you're on snack duty!)
- [ ] Apply sunscreen before outdoor practices and games
🧤 Extras for Comfort
- [ ] Layers, bring a hoodie or light jacket for unpredictable New England weather
💬 Team Spirit & Inclusion
- [ ] Encourage your player to greet teammates and coaches warmly
- [ ] Talk about sportsmanship, trying your best, and having fun
- [ ] We know the sidelines get spirited—let’s keep it positive!
Cheer loud, support all players, and remember: the goal is growth, not just goals. - [ ] Refresh on the policies
Reach out to your Coaches and Volunteer for a small role—field setup, post-game clean-up, or team email support

🎃 Soccer + Costumes = Spooktacular Fun
Lace up those cleats and break out the broomsticks—this isn’t your average October game. Expect a candy station, themed music, and a parade of pint-sized players dressed as superheroes, ghosts, and maybe even soccer balls. Photo contests and prizes galore. Details to come!
