Additional Information

The Teams

The teams are created on a random basis, this is to promote kids getting to play with kids they may or may not know. Town Teams typically has one practice per week (day and time determined by coach/team) with games on Saturday mornings. Coaches are volunteers, mostly parents, with support and assistance from DYS and Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA).

The Games

Games are played on Saturdays. They are an hour in length. There is a referee, who will officate the game and aid in teaching the kids about basic soccer rules. There is no score kept for these games.

Uniforms/Equipment

Each player will have team shirts provided by their coach at the start of the fall season.  Only players new to a team will receive new shirts in the Spring.

Players need to have shin guards and cleats are highly recommended. Kids will need to provide their own socks and shorts.
