So…yes, 2026 started 25 days ago, but its still January-I can still say Happy New Year, and it is never too late to express heart-felt thanks to the hardworking, always striving for better, all-volunteer Dedham Soccer Board. A few members have decided to move on: Courtney Donati (Secretary, Town Director), Rick Rickert (board member) and a huge shout out to long-time members,Michelle Kleinsasser, Ted Connolly and Bob Rotchford (11years! Former Travel Director, town permits), you will all be missed! We also want to welcome a new member, Meghan Quilter (who joined over the summer) thank you for joining, and for all that you’ve contributed already as our Credentialing Director!
At the end of every year, we hold elections for Officers, at our December Board meeting. I will be returning as your 2026 Dedham Soccer President, as well as Vice President, Aubrey Dollman, and Treasurer, Raffaele Dicenso. We are on the lookout for a new Secretary! Huge thank you to Aubrey and Raffaele for returning. *If you are interested in serving as a Secretary, please reach out! We are also on the lookout for another Town Director.

Winter Clinics
Keep those turf cleats/sneakers, soccer balls, and practice jerseys out, Winter Training is here!! *Unless they are too small- in which case, put them off to the side for the Cleat Swap right before Spring season starts (end of March, check Facebook for dates and locations) Yes, there is snow on the fields- Thankfully, Clinics are inside, back at Dedham Country Day, Rand Gym (90 Sandy Valley Rd, Dedham, MA 02026)

- DYS Turns 50 this year!!! We are celebrating big and weaving in the World Cup action- so much more to come all year long, stay tuned!
- SPRING REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR TOWN, TRAVEL AND HS (9-PG1) -Late fees started on January 16th (travel), and Feb 17th (town) don’t wait! Once late fees kick in, and waitlists kick in, space on teams is also not guaranteed*Please register your players for their current grade in school (for example, if your player is in 4th grade, sign them up for 4th grade travel)
- ***PRESCHOOL KICKERS REGISTRATION OPENS MARCH 1st (Must be 4 by April 1st)
- If you are planning to coach in the Spring, Coach’s meeting is tentatively planned for March 22, 2026; more details to come
- Coaches can start practices the week of March 30th
- First games of the Spring Season, April 11th
- Games are scheduled for Memorial Day weekend
- Last games of the Spring Season June 13th
- Town picnic weekend is tentatively planned for the last weekend of the season, details to come
