Hello Dedham Soccer Community! We hope you are enjoying your summer!
As we head into the rest of the summer, we'd like to share some important information with you. When you have a moment, please take a few minutes to read the information below carefully.
Registration Updates: Fall Season
- Travel Soccer (Grades 3 through Grade 8): Registration is closed.
- Town Soccer (Kindergarten through Grade 3): Registration is still open for the fall season and will close on August 5th. Late fees ($50) will begin on August 6th.
- Preschool Kickers: Registration opens on August 1st at 12:01 AM.
Travel team roster information timing:
The Dedham Youth Soccer Travel team is working hard with coaches and others to finalize team rosters and coaching staff. All players that registered on time will be on a team. DYS will release the rosters for all teams at the same time for coaches to contact families and get ready for the fall season. This will occur in late July or early August once all team rosters are set. Thanks for your patience!
Late registration/late fee:
Late registration for the Town Soccer program will still be available with a guaranteed spot, until August 9th, but this will require a late fee. On August 10th; however, all late registrants will be placed on a waitlist. If space becomes available on a team, such late registrants may be added to a roster and if so, you will be charged the price of registration and the late fee.
Preschool Kickers:
Spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and registration will remain open until all available slots have been filled. Sessions are held on Saturdays only, from Sept. 12 to Nov. 14. New families will receive an age-appropriate ball and jersey. Session timeslots are 9am, 10am, 11am and 12pm. Once a timeslot is full, it will be removed as an option shortly thereafter. The Preschool Kickers program is limited to Preschoolers who will be 4 years of age or older, on or before September 1, 2026. Kindergarteners should not sign up for Preschool Kickers and should sign up for Town Soccer.

DYS Board Opportunities
We are looking for dedicated volunteers who are passionate about making a difference to join the DYS Soccer Board. The board typically meets on the first Tuesday of each month at Town Hall. If you’re interested in getting involved and making an impact in the DYS community, we encourage you to attend an upcoming meeting—no coaching experience is required.
Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 4th beginning at 7:00 PM. There is no obligation to join the board—feel free to attend as a guest to see what it’s like. Contact us for the room location at Town Hall.
