She was a senior captain, first team Tri-Valley League all-star, second team E-Mass all-star and the leader of the defense (which gave up less than 10 goals each of the last two championship seasons). Devan’s great defensive play was one of the main reasons we had an undefeated championship team (only the second undefeated girls’ soccer team in Dedham High history). She played in two State Championship games. Devan was the recipient of the Coaches Award.
Ryan Benoit was a two year starter who was a tri valley league all star his senior year. What he lacked in size he made up for it with toughness, smarts, skill and heart. Off the field Ryan worked with the Revs unified soccer program. He also refereed and coached for DYS. A quality young man.
